2019 State Advocacy Day

The 2019 State Advocacy Day registration is now open! State Advocacy Day is a one day event where advocates from all across California, like yourself, meet in Sacramento and share their passion to end Alzheimer's with their local elected officials. 
 
This year State Advocacy Day is on February 5th. Many  advocates fly up and down on the same day to attend the event. You must register before January 18th!

Lower risk of Breast Cancer





Women who exercise at least two and half hours a week have a lower risk of breast cancer, according to the American Cancer Society.  Cottage Health is teaming up with Jenny Schatzle for the Step Up to Prevent Breast Cancer event.  Free one-hour fitness classes will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the Jenny Schatzle Program.  Classes will be offered at noon and 1:30 p.m.

Caregiver Training

FEMA is offering a free training on Natural Disaster Awareness for Caregivers. It will be held on September 13, 2018 at the Santa Barbara City Fire Department on 121 W. Carrillo, Santa Barbara, CA. There will be two offerings: 8:00am - 12:00pm or 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
