Nearly 80% of older adults own a home, and, despite rising housing-related costs and living on fixed or limited incomes, older adults prefer to age in place. Homeowners who have not retired their mortgage debt may find it challenging to keep up with monthly payments as they age. Many will fall behind on the loan and face foreclosure.

Please join housing experts, Odette Williamson and Jeremiah Battle of the National Consumer Law Center, for this Legal Basics webinar. The presentation will discuss the work out options and other resources available to assist older homeowners facing foreclosure after default on a forward mortgage. Many of the options have changed and will continue to change over the coming year. This session will include updates on workout options and other foreclosure alternatives.

Presenters:
Odette Williamson, Attorney, National Consumer Law Center
Jeremiah Battle, Attorney, National Consumer Law Center

The webinar will take place on Tuesday, March 14 at 11:00 a.m. PT/2:00 p.m. ET.
