Central Coast Stop Senior Scams Working Group

Central Coast Stop Senior Scams Working Group (tentative title for the group) now has a set date for this year for quarterly meetings.  The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 from 10am to 12pm.

The new location (for the year) will be at the Santa Barbara County Dept. of Social Services.   I have been told there should be ample free parking as well.  Thanks to Akiles Ceron for getting this conference room for us to meet for the rest of the year.  (Additional dates are Tuesday, August 1 and Tuesday, November 7).

Location and Directions:
Santa Barbara County, Department of Social Services
234 Camino Del Remedio
Santa Barbara, CA 93110

From the North - drive southbound on the 101, and take the Turnpike Avenue exit. Turn left, and then make your first right onto Calle Real southbound. Take your third left on Camino Del Remedio, and then your first right to find the parking lot on your left.

From the South - drive northbound on the 101, and take the El Sueno exit. Turn left onto Calle Real, and continue northbound. Take your third right on Camino Del Remedio, and then your first right to find the parking lot on your left.

I am making this email list public, in hopes that you will review the names to the extent possible, and forward this who others who should be part of our working group.  We are especially interested in getting additional law enforcement (both local and federal), services that work directly with elderly victims and their families and more mental health agencies.  (If you are one of those people interested in attending, please email me first with your contact information).

Please call if you have any questions, to Vicki Johnson (805-568-2442) or myself.
