Early-stage Alzheimer's seminar


To be held August 24 & 28 in Santa Barbara, the Help & Hope seminar is designed to prepare those in the very early stages of Alzheimer's disease and related disorders, and their care partners and families, for the challenges ahead. There is no charge to attend, but registration is required. Help and Hope offers four modules over a two-day program, delivered in a combination of presentations from experts, handouts, Q&A, discussions and exercises. Topics include overview of diagnosis, communication strategies, legal and financial planning, treatment options, community resources and stress-relieving strategies.
