Care Map Workshops

Come learn how “care maps” can help families and social workers meet the challenges of caregiving. The Santa Barbara Foundation is co-sponsoring five community workshops countywide, for both family caregivers and the social workers who work with them. The goal of the workshops is to share and receive feedback about the “care map” tool, which is being developed by the Atlas of Caregiving and is funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Information about this tool can be found on our website at http://www.sbfoundation.org/caregiver (scroll to the bottom).

Click the links below to view printable flyers for both events. Please feel free to share the flyers with your network.

Although our work has been geared toward family caregivers for seniors, caregivers for disabled adults are also welcome to attend. We hope that both the family caregiver and social worker groups will be able to provide feedback on this tool and discover a new way to assess caregiving realities. A small token of appreciation will be provided to the participants.
