Reimagine Philanthropy
The Santa Barbara Foundation has partnered with the Atlas of Caregiving and local nonprofits to deepen our understanding of the caregiving experience. We are seeking family caregivers to participate in the first-ever project of its kind anywhere. This project isn’t for just for patients or clients you may be working with. We mean to include anyone who is an active family caregiver — it could mean doctors, nurses, social workers, public servants, business people, finance experts…perhaps, even you. Anyone who is a actively providing two or more hours of support each day for a family member or friend is eligible to participate. Support includes care assistance of any sort—hands-on assistance, social support, helping with household activities, providing transportation, etc.
