Santa Barbara Foundation announces Community Caregiving Initiative Grants

Reimagine Philanthropy

 

The Santa Barbara Foundation is pleased to announce the 2018 Community Caregiving Initiative Grants.  Funds are available for new projects and programs that build capacity and systems for caregiver support.  Competitive projects will address identified gaps and opportunities in existing services, exchanges, and connections that increase caregiver resiliency and competency.  Priority will be given to work that is collaborative in nature (three or more organizations working together) and emphasizes regional priorities.  Funded organizations must be committed to collaborative data sharing, which may include surveys, interviews, convenings, and the use of CareMaps.  Application deadline is October 2, 2017 with funds awarded in January 2018.  Further details can be found at http://www.sbfoundation.org/caregiver.

She will also introduce a unique approach to developing an “attitude of creative indifference” toward the people, situations, and events that are causing you the greatest amount of emotional stress.

The Scan Foundation 2017 Survey - Adult & Aging Network

 

Since 2014, The SCAN Foundation has requested that each Regional Coalition “Lead” have their full Coalition membership take a very brief survey.

 

The survey aims to learn about stakeholder efforts across California in the implementation of managed long-term services and supports and Cal MediConnect (in applicable counties). The Foundation looks at the survey results in total and not as a reflection of any particular organization or Regional Coalition.

 

To this end, we request your assistance in sharing this very brief survey, which can be found here with all of your Coalition members.

 

We would like to receive all survey responses by August 11^th.
