Please join us for this timely session, led by Nora O' Brien, a nationally recognized trainer on Disaster Preparedness and Response. Learning and networking opportunities include:
  • state of the art planning tools to assure we can keep ourselves, our families, our staff, and our communities safe in an emergency
  • strategies for assuring our agencies and services are ready and able to respond
  • information about special funding available to nonprofits who provide services during and after a disaster
  • opportunities to discuss mutual support opportunities with colleagues from neighboring towns and counties
  • a special gift with which to start your own emergency kit

  • Professionals from social service, health, mental health, child care, child welfare, housing, veterans service, education, family resource centers, law enforcement, and other helping agencies
  • Advocates, parents, & community members who want to learn and make a difference for children and families in their region
